Most Moms Are Cleared. Few Are Actually Recovered.

Many women are told everything looks normal at their 6-week postpartum visit while still struggling with core weakness, leaking, pelvic pressure, back pain, and uncertainty about returning to exercise.

At Elevate615, our Doctor of Physical Therapy provides one-on-one postpartum and pelvic floor physical therapy designed to help you recover with confidence.

Here's What Recovery Should Have Looked Like

Your Postpartum Recovery Roadmap

Why You Still Don't Feel Like Yourself

Many women are told they're "cleared" at 6 weeks postpartum but still experience:

• Leaking with exercise

• Core weakness

• Pelvic heaviness or pressure

• Back, hip, or SI joint pain

• Pain with intimacy

• Fear of returning to running or lifting

The problem isn't that you're broken.

The problem is nobody has assessed whether your body is actually ready for the demands you're placing on it.

What Happens During Your Assessment

Your one-on-one evaluation includes:

• Pelvic floor screening (when appropriate)

• Core strength and control assessment

• Breathing and pressure management evaluation

• Movement analysis for lifting, running, exercise, or daily activities

• Identification of the true drivers behind your symptoms

• A personalized recovery roadmap

You'll leave with answers, clarity, and a plan.

Who Is This For?

This assessment is for you if:

• You've recently had a baby

• You're planning to return to exercise

• You're leaking, feeling pressure, or experiencing pain

• You're frustrated with being told everything is "normal"

• You want expert guidance instead of guessing

• You want to feel strong and confident in your body again

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a referral from my doctor first?

No.

Tennessee is a Direct Access state, which means you can schedule a physical therapy evaluation without a physician referral.

Many of our clients come to us after their postpartum checkup because they still feel weak, experience leaking, have pelvic pressure, or simply want guidance on returning to exercise safely.

If we believe additional medical evaluation is needed, we'll help coordinate that process.

Is it too late if I'm more than 6 weeks postpartum?

Absolutely not.

While many women begin pelvic floor physical therapy during pregnancy or shortly after delivery, it's never too late to address symptoms.

Whether you're 6 weeks, 6 months, or even several years postpartum, we can help improve strength, mobility, pelvic floor function, and confidence with exercise.

Do you really come to my home?

Yes.

Our concierge physical therapist travels directly to your home throughout Nashville, Franklin, Brentwood, Donelson, and surrounding communities.

No packing a diaper bag.
No arranging childcare.
No waiting rooms.

We bring expert postpartum and pelvic floor physical therapy directly to you.

What if I don't want months of physical therapy?

That's completely okay.

Many women simply want answers, reassurance, and a clear plan.

Some clients choose a single assessment and recovery roadmap. Others utilize our 3-Visit Recovery Package for guided support during the most important stages of healing.

We'll recommend what's best for your goals—not what's best for our schedule.

Can you help me return to running, lifting, or exercise?

Absolutely.

Elevate615 specializes in helping active adults return to the activities they love.

Whether your goal is running, CrossFit, strength training, yoga, pickleball, golf, or simply keeping up with your children, we'll create a personalized plan designed around your specific goals and symptoms.

What happens during a postpartum recovery evaluation?

Your evaluation is a private, one-on-one session with a Doctor of Physical Therapy.

Depending on your goals and symptoms, your assessment may include:

• Pelvic floor screening

• Core and abdominal assessment

• Diastasis recti evaluation

• Breathing and pressure management assessment

• Movement analysis

• Strength and mobility testing

• Return-to-exercise planning

You'll leave with a better understanding of what's happening, why it's happening, and exactly what to do next.
